VINTAGE LARGE BLACK LACQUER ABALONE INLAY JEWELRY BOX,2 DRAWERS,FLIP BACK TOP

Description

For bid is a large black lacquer jewelry box with abalone inlay and ornate metal hardware.  It has an inlaid abalone scene on the top and front.  There are two drawers and thew top opens up and folds back to a large open box at the top.  All are lined in black felt.  The box measures12 in. front to back,8 1/4 in. across the front and 8 1/2 in. tall.  The bottom drawer is 2 in. deep and the top drawer is 1 5/8 in. deep.  The top of the box is 1 1/2 in. deep and the length and width of the box.  It's in goods condition.  It does have a tiny touched up spot at the corner edge of one of the drawer openings, see last picture (white dot is a piece of lint).  The rest of the box looks good, no scratches or scuffs in the black lacquer and the lining is perfect.  Nice big jewelry box to hold all of your jewelry and it's a work of art too.  It weighs 5 lbs. 7 oz. without packing.
The box will weigh 6 lbs.11 oz.
