    Red lacquer jewelry chest from Japan, hand painted mountain (Fugi) scene adorns the outside of the piece
    This is a beauty it's a vintage piece and gently worn but loaded with charm and character.  With three mirrors and two doors it's a commanding piece, I've gotten many compliments on this box.  I've had several of this type before (they're collectibles) . There is a crack in the top portion of the piece, the one in the middle.  Music plays, sometimes a bit slow.  It really is a beautiful vintage piece of Japanese art!
    Everything on this box is original and it was probably made in the 1950s sometime.  It's approximately 14x8.5x5.
