    Description

    Wonderful old hand-painted enamel candy box in the shape of a book, made in Japan with Japanese temples and cherry blossom trees. It held one pound of Schall's candy from Clinton, Iowa.  What a wonderful collectible - whether you collect handpainted boxes, Japanese items or candy memorabilia from Iowa!  Condition is very good with a few areas of wear.  Some pieces of MOP on the front are missing.    It is marked two times inside the front cover Made in Japan.  Please see the photos and ask questions before your purchase it.
