Hand Carved Japanese Jewelry Box from Okinawa Japan

Description

My girlfriend gave me this Jewelry box back in 1976. She acquired it in Okinawa, Japan while
her father was stationed there in the military. I believe it was made in the 50's or 60's according
to another Ebayer's listing. Mine has a crack on the top going left to right. Keep the patina or have
someone repair it for you. The compartment to the right rear that has no felt on the sides, was
a wind up music device which is long gone. Thus the hole in the bottom. Music movement machines
are available on Amazon for less than .00. It is 12" X 8.5" X 3.5".
It has moved with me maybe ten times since 1976. Time to let it fly.
