this piece of test equipment is from the late 1970's/early 1980's.  This unit covers from several hundred kHz to 999.9999 MHz and will generate and detect both AM and FM signals to aid in the alignment and calibration of both receivers and transmitters.
Unusually for similar units of this time period, this model has a fairly well-calibrated spectrum analyzer that can be read to reasonable accuracy in terms of both signal amplitude as well as frequency dispersion - and even over very narrow sweep ranges that can visualize both Bessel Nulls and sidebands of AM, FM and even SSB transmissions.
This unit is too old to have a built-in computer which means that there are tons of components required to perform the necessary analog signal processing, but this
also means that the vast majority of components are through-hole and still relatively easy to find!  The exceptions to these are, of course, things like the CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) of the 'scope as well as some of the meters and knob hardware, but most of these things could probably be improvised and will likely be available for years to come
!
Condition:  Used ,  I plugged it in turned it on and the green light came on. I know nothing about these things and figure it needs repair so I'm selling this for parts or repair. ,  (See Photos).
